Smiles of the World

According to the Chinese proverb, if you do not know what to give as a gift, you should give a smile.
In the introduction to the album Smiles of the World, Ryszard Kapuściński writes: ‘One of the characteristics that link people of all races and cultures is the ability to smile, a talent which we all possess irrespective of our skin colour, the language we speak, or the religion we subscribe to.’
Elżbieta Dzikowska shows us the world as a planet of smiling people, and proves that smiling is something that comes naturally to all us; a global language understood by all.
